Charles M. Schulz Museum

Here you'll notice more giggles and belly laughs than at other museums. Smiles are infectious as the crowds move from one exhibit of Peanuts cartoon characters to another. The exhibits reflect the scope of Charles Schulz's career as a cartoonist whose characters influenced generations worldwide. Built on two levels with a theater, gift shop, and a garden with a maze and a kite-eating tree, the museum places the importance of Schulz's work within the history of cartooning. Fun tip: Look for holograms in the sculpture garden and by the water fountains. The museum is open weekdays 11 AM to 5 PM, weekends 10 AM to 5 PM. Closed Tuesdays from Labor Day to Memorial Day.
