Cedar Breaks National Monument Visitor Center & Trailhead

Description

Cedar Breaks National Monument’s Visitor Center serves as the trail head to two moderate to strenuous hiking trails. The two-mile hike to Spectra Point climbs up and down along the rim to a southern edge that looks back across the vast expanse of the amphitheater. It is also the best place to be at sunset to watch the changing colors and intensity of the multi-color spires. For the more experience hiker, travel on another mile to Point Supreme which is the highest overlook on the south side. During the summer, the Visitor Center is the hub for weekly star gazing events.
