Botanical Garden and Insectarium

Description

The Botanical Garden and Insectarium in Montreal is home to over 22,000 plant species and cultivars. It also boasts ten exhibition greenhouses and several decorated, themed gardens — such as the Chinese Garden or the French Garden. The garden prides itself on showcasing plants and species from all corners of the globe. Visitors should plan to spend anywhere from one to four hours in the outdoor gardens, and half an hour to an hour at the insectarium. For school-aged children, the activities at the garden are endless — educational tours and workshops are available throughout the year.
