Bluff View Art District

Description

This charming district of museums, galleries, and cafes sits atop a limestone bluff along the Tennessee River. Its best-known attraction, the Hunter museum of American Art, houses a highly regarded collection of paintings, sculpture, and furniture. The Humbler Houston Museum of Decorative Art displays antique glass, china, and furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries.
