Belle Meade Plantation

Description

Dubbed 'Queen of the Tennessee Plantations,' Belle Meade Plantation is an 1853 Greek Revival mansion that was once internationally known as a Thoroughbred stud farm. The racehorse Seabiscuit and many other horses who Kentucky Derby horses trace their lineage to this plantation. Costumed guides conduct tours of the mansion, grounds, and colossal carriage house.
