Basque Museum and Cultural Center

Boise's Basque Museum and Cultural Center was developed to preserve and commemorate the history of the Basque people and immigrants that lived and thrived in Iowa. The Basque people, from the Spanish territory, relocated to Boise in droves throughout history. The museum, established in 1985, displays the stories, troubles, and successes of these people. The museum is open to visitors for an admission fee, but is closed on all major holidays. For specific days and hours of operation, visit the Basque Museum and Cultural center web site.
