Anasazi State Park & Museum

Description

Here you can explore the ruins of an Anasazi village, where archaeologists have uncovered more than 100 structures thought to have been occupied by an Ancestral Pueblo community from AD 1050 to 1200. You can also tour unexcavated ruins and a replica of a six-room dwelling. A museum has galleries, and interactive exhibits contain thousands of artifacts, including artful ceramics showcasing the Anasazi’s sophisticated pottery skills.
