Acadian Village Museum

The Acadian Village Museum celebrates the everyday life and history of the Acadian villagers. In the 16th and 17th centuries, the Acadians came from France and settled in Acadia, now known as Nova Scotia. The museum experience introduces visitors to the day-to-day life of the Acadians, including laundry, cooking, candle-making, sewing, knot-making, making a lobster trap, gathering firewood, and gardening. A cafeteria and picnic tables are on site for those that want to spend the day at the museum.
